I love the preview and can't wait for the issue. I did want to point out the typo in the word 'someone's' which repeats itself beginning on page 9!!

By the way, several people commented to me today that they enjoyed the online and are looking forward to the issue. David Alpaugh definitely gave pause for thought. Interesting. I think some of the contests are kind of cool and it's a good opportunity for poets to have a chance to be published. In fact, I've had poets ask me if I would be willing to run a contest so it made me think about it. But, after reading David's essay, I'm not so sure what to think but it made me slow down and not rush into anything like that without further exploration of the up and down sides. That's another thing I love about Rattle.

Tim,

I've been very impressed with both Rattle and your website.I've got an RSS feed on your site and the rattle page...a new poem in the morning makes the morning go by much more smoothly.

I am the editor of an online lit/photo journal called Waterlogged August (www.waterloggedaugust.com) and would love to hear any advice you might have on getting our name out there (getting submissions has been a challenge).

If you have a moment, check out our site and feel free to contact us with critique (or, if we're really lucky, a submission!).

Thanks,
Dan Cavallari
